Education & Research Forum

The Education and Research Forum supports a major strand of the IAPC’s core agenda.  The purpose of the Forum is to address Palliative Care education and research as it arises under the IAPC’s mission.

The role of the Forum is to promote and accelerate the undertaking of research among palliative care practitioners and researchers on the island of Ireland, to promote evidence-based research, and to build and increase research capacity in the sector.

The IAPC Annual Education and Research Seminar is a major annual event for the Association.

The Forum also designs and delivers developmental opportunities for palliative care professionals undertaking research, such as workshops on abstract writing, presentation skills, and preparing research for publication.
